Get in the Halloween Spirit with The Curse of the Werewolf

Colonial Theatre

Get in the Halloween Spirit with The Curse of the Werewolf movie at the Colonial Theatre. This classic film from 1961 will be playing this weekend on Sunday, October 19th at 2:00 PM.

This Hammer Films creation diverted from the typical “Wolf Man” route and incorporated more depth that included wrongful imprisonment, Spanish noblemen, murder, and a child that is born with a curse. Certainly not your normal plot line.

In fact, rather than using the monster actor of the time, Christopher Lee, they chose a newer actor on the scene, Oliver Reed, to portray the werewolf. A risky decision that payed off. So if you are in the mood to see a scary classic and get into the Halloween spirit, then be sure to come watch this Sunday at 2:00 PM!
