Honey Restaurant is a Change of Pace
If you are looking to take a short trip out of town with that special someone, consider heading to Honey restaurant in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Here, their modern, creative, American-style food is a wonderful change-of-pace – all served in a fantastic setting.
Begin your meal with starters like their Mixed Olive Plate, All-American Cheese Plate, or Truffle & Smoke Potato Chips. We were wowed with the potato chips as they are homemade with hickory smoked sea salt, white truffle oil, chives, and parmesan fondue.
Then, move on to your main course with menu selections like the “Black Velvet” Oysters in a Guinness reduction with champagne-horseradish mignonette and smoked steelhead caviar. Another savory choice are their Kampachi Tacos. Made with green apple, cucumber, sea beans, wasabi tobikko, white soy vinaigrette, crisp wonton shells, and red shiso, these are unique and mouthwatering.
For something truly amazing, try the Lobster Pizza. Made with Maine lobster, grilled eggplant, preserved tomato, lobster-harissa bechamel, fresh mozzarella, and naan, you will love this delicious creation. Looking to beat the cold with something warm and flavorful? Try the Jambalaya that is made with laughing bird shrimp, andouille sausage, bomba rice, and a saffron-tomato-clam broth.
If you manage to leave room for dessert, they have plenty of options to choose from. We recommend the Callebaut Chocolate Trio that comes with a hazelnut-chocolate chip brownie with bourbon caramel, chocolate cheesecake with Valencia orange and vanilla salt, and chocolate sorbet with hazelnut butter and cocoa nibs. It’s amazing!
