Kiwanis Club Sponsors Great Summer Children’s Programs

The Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville runs great children’s programs on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kiwanis Children’s Plaza. Every event is free of charge and great for the whole family to enjoy.

The Children’s Plaza is located in the open air space found between 217 and 219 Bridge Street. In case of rain, the programs will be moved to the Phoenixville Art Center at 207 Bridge Street. Additionally, parking is free in the lot behind the plaza until 2:00 PM and the entrance is on Main Street. Bridge Street also has free parking on the street for up to two hours. Here is the schedule for the programs:

June 21st: Michael Kropp – Makin’ Music – children’s music performance

June 28th: Party Rocket Events – Professional face painting and creative crafts

July 5th: Elmwood Park Zoo: “Who’s Who at the Zoo” with live animals

July 12th: Jack Hardesty the Balloon Man

July 19th: The Amazing Vindini – Magic, juggling, and music

July 26th: Mr. David Perry – Creative Entertainment

August 2nd: Tom McDonnell – Magic Program

August 9th: Michael Kropp – Makin’ Music – children’s music performance

August 16th: Pokie-Poke the Jongleur – Juggling, balloon hats, and music

August 23rd: Miss Maggie Sings – Songs and stories, puppets, and poems
