Zombie Run & Fun Day is Saturday

Zombie Run & Fun Day is Saturday
The Zombie Run and Fun Day is scheduled for this Saturday, November 7th and is sure to be a great time. Are you prepared? Every November the zombies rise in Phoenixville – it might sound scary, but there is fun here for the whole family!

This great event will include:

– 1K Fun Run & Walk
– Traditional 5K
– “Survivor’s Run” 5K

The Fun Run & Walk and the Traditional 5K are being held for regular fitness and fun, while the Survivor’s Run features a dash for your life as zombies try to capture flags around belts that are provided to you. Don’t get caught or you’ll become one of the undead!

Some of the other fun activities on Zombie Run & Fun Day include:

– Food Vendors
– Kids’ Crafts (make and take!)
– Face Painting
– Kids’ Games & Activities
– Vendors from the local community and organizations

The event will be centered at Bridge and Main Streets in downtown Phoenixville, while the run will go along French Creek on the Schuylkill River Trail. Remember, a large portion of money raised through ticket sales will go straight to Phoenixville Area Community Services (PACS) – so it’s a great event with a great cause!

Note: All people are asked to bring a minimum of one canned / non-perishable food item to donate to the on-site Canned Food Drive. The drive will benefit PACS, by helping to stock their cupboards at a time of great need.
