The Kimberton Run is This Weekend!

On this Saturday the 26th, come see over 100 racers and walkers participate in the 17th Annual Kimberton Run – or join in yourself! This 5K Run/Walk and 1/2 mile Kid’s Run will be held on a perfect day for running in the beautiful East Pikeland Township in Chester County.

The Kimberton Waldorf School is providing a water stop near the covered bridge once again this year, and after the run, trophies and medals will be awarded for performances in various categories. Then, a drawing for some wonderful door prizes will be held.

Last year the event raised over $2,700 to support the many charities of the Kimberton Lions. Our goal is to surpass last year’s totals to give even more to these great charities!

In total, the Kimberton 5K Run/Walk has raised nearly $56,000 over the past 16 years to benefit Lions’ projects. We’d like to send out a huge thank you to race participants, all of the volunteers, and all of the donors, and sponsors.
