If you love Israeli cuisine, or you are looking to try something new, then head over to Zahav. Named one of the best restaurants in the country by Esquire Magazine, this is a phenomenal place to dine when you are in the city.

While here, you can try many different small plates that allow you to sample more of what they have to offer. The cooks at Zahav make amazing laffa bread in their wood-burning Taboon, delicious hummus, sizzling skewers over hardwood charcoal, and so much more.

Great small plate food selections include their Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bulgarian feta and pickled lemon, the Yemenite Beef Stew with roasted short rib and potatoes, and the Grilled Duck Hearts with pickled green tomatoes, green Matbucha, and Shabazi onion rings. If you want to try a kebab, we recommend the Lamb Merguez that comes with squash, oyster mushrooms, and pepitas.

So the next time you are in Philadelphia, consider trying something delicious and different at Zahav. They are located at 237 St. James Place on the grounds of the Society Hill Towers. For more information click here to visit their website and to see the full menu.
